THE MUSIC COLLECTIVE (an AECG company)
Opus 19 Music, LLC, the music publishing arm of AECG, is now the worldwide administrator for the legendary ARC Music / Conrad Music catalogs.
Internationally recognized as a cornerstone of American Blues and Rock ’n’ Roll, the ARC Music catalogues includes the works of Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Jimmy Reed, Sonny Boy Williamson, and many other legendary writers whose songs have inspired generations of new artists.
Alan Ett, CEO of AECG, announced the deal in November saying that "it is fantastic that FEA (Fuji Entertainment America) has entrusted this legendary collection of music to the talented staff of Opus 19. We are extremely excited by the opportunity to introduce this music to a new generation of fans."
Evan Medow, President of Opus 19, who was instrumental in putting the deal together on behalf of FEA added, “I have been chasing ARC for a long time and I am glad we finally caught them. The songs are amazing and it is an authentic slice of American musical history that we are honored to bring into our family.”
Opus 19 also continues to administer the Six Palms Music / Third Story Music catalogs, which boasts classic hits by Alice Cooper, Tom Waits, Tim Buckley, Jimi Hendrix, and many others.
