THE MUSIC COLLECTIVE (an AECG company)

Studio City, CA, December 28, 2009 – Music Supervisor and VP of Production, Ryan Neill, veteran staffer of Studio City, California-based The Music Collective, sets the tone for 20 West Productions new crime series, “The Squeeze”, premiering on MSNBC Friday, January 1, 2010 at 10pm ET and Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 9pm ET.

Collaborating efforts among The Music Collective’s impressive roster of composers, the score creates a combination of moods with contemporary overtones of percussion that complement the tension and drama of turning criminals into informants from the inner city neighborhoods of Chicago.

“Ryan and his team produced an exceptional score for our show. Their tracks perfectly weave together the emotional palette of the subject matter: from the action-packed, adrenaline-driven police raids to the slow burn of psychological cat-and-mouse games between investigators and criminals, the music complements everything extremely well. The occasional hints of R&B soulfulness lend themselves to the gritty Chicago setting as well. And the theme for the opening titles brings a swagger and hook that I think viewers will grab onto immediately,” says Lance Hori, the Series Supervising Producer for “The Squeeze.” The series is produced by 20 West Productions for MSNBC.

Music Editing provided by The Music Collective’s Irl Sanders.
